The Mountain View Bed & Breakfast Inn experience is planned to ensure that individuals, couples, and families have enjoyable stays. We provide an interesting, yet restful, bed & breakfast experience for children and adults alike. The guest rooms and common areas are spread out over 3 spacious levels. At the Mountain View, you have the opportunity to enjoy a quiet, romantic, get-away, or we can accommodate a family with little ones.

Adult Stays at The Mountain View Bed & Breakfast Inn

The Mountain View offers you quiet interludes and peaceful accommodations that will ensure a relaxing stay. You can choose a guest-room on the 3rd level with private bath - views from the upstairs guest rooms at sunrise and sunset are truly stunning. Or, you can choose accommodations on the 1st level with your very own private entrance. Other Adult attractions include:

1. We are located on 40 acres of hilly terrain with walking trails and cross country ski trails crossing our property

2. Hang out in a comfortable lounge/activity area with regulation size, slate pool table, TV, and kitchen area to make and store refreshments.

3. The Mountain View is located in easy driving distance to Deerfield Academy, Amherst College, Smith College, UMASS, Mount Holyoke College, & Hampshire College - Making it an ideal place to stay when visiting your student family members.

4. We prepare a bountiful morning meal and you can use the kitchenette for afternoon & evening meals or snacks.

5. We are located in the Pioneer Valley region of Northwestern Massachusetts with some of the best leaf peeping and antiquing that New England has to offer.

6. Western Massachusetts & Southern Vermont Ski Areas are an easy drive ensuring a full day on the slopes.

7. The city of Northampton Massachusetts is close by with its eclectic selection of restaurants, entertainment and shopping.

Kid Stays at The Mountain View Bed & Breakfast Inn

The Mountain View Bed & Breakfast Inn has "kid friendly" spaces and food choices to ensure that the little one have some fun too. Kid attractions include:

1. A flexible sleeping arrangement for the little ones. Choose from separate room, rollout bed, and/or an annex area next to your room.

2. A fully stocked play area complete with a floor to ceiling chalk board and colored chalk for doodling and kid designs.

3. Out of doors playing area with swings and 40 acres of trails to explore natural wonders with the family.

4. Access to the kitchenette located near the play room to prepare snacks for the kids.

5. We will even provide a playmate - our son is a great bed & breakfast ambassador to visiting children.
