Outside ....
The approach to the Mountain View is via a driveway
at the end of the road. We are on the top of the hill.
As you drive in, the land opens and you begin to observe
the beauty of the surrounding hills and mountains of
Western Massachusetts & Southern Vermont. Dusk and
dawn generally yield memorable vistas.
The Entryway & 1st Level ....
You will enter the Inn through the front foyer that
features a 3 tier wrap around staircase that is trimmed
with cherry.
The living room & dining room are located directly
off the foyer. In cold weather you will most likely
be greeted by the warmth of a fire that is blazing in
the living room fireplace.
Scrumptious breakfasts will be served each morning
in our dining room or wrap around porch (weather cooperating).
The Lower Level Accommodations ...
Guests are welcome to relax and hang out in the comfort
& warmth of the wood stove located in the lower
level.
It is a perfect place to prepare & enjoy your own
refreshments. Watch a special event on TV or shoot a
game of pool on the regulation size slate pool table.
The children's play area
is located in the lower level & is located in the
TV area. You relax, while they play! |
